Video: Another Arrested In Far-Reaching Arson-For-Hire Scheme

CLAY CO., Miss. (WCBI) – Clay County deputies make another arrest in an arson-for-hire scheme.

72-year-old Thomas “Tommy” Williams of Pheba is charged with two counts of arson.

Sheriff Eddie Scott says Williams is connected to the West Point Stockyard fire this past November.

Scott says Williams was paid to set the fire.

More arrests are expected in this investigation that spans several counties and involves federal law enforcement.

Williams bond was set at $100,000 dollars.

This past Friday, 54-year-old Michael Tribble, 42-year-old Jason Williams of Maben and 38-year-old Daniel Easley were all charged with arson in connection with this case.
