Baptist Employees Donate Fans in Lowndes County

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI-TV) – A fan drive at Baptist Golden Triangle is helping Lowndes County residents without air conditioning stay cool the rest of the summer.

United Way and Helping Hands Ministry received 17 new box fans on Tuesday.

The fans were donated by hospital employees and will be distributed to families in Lowndes County.

More than 17 hundred dollars was raised through the hospital’s marketing department, and will go towards buying more fans for families in need.

The United Way and Helping Hands will be collecting fans through August if you wish to donate.
