Belden Man Faces Federal Time

A burglary investigation by the Lee County Sheriffs Department has led to a Belden man facing federal jail time as well

GRISSOM

29 year old Justin Alexander Grissom pled guilty today to altering U.S. currency.  When Lee County investigators arrested Grissom back in August for a series of home burglaries, officers also found  one dollar bills which had been bleached in order to make fake larger denomination bills   Grissom could be sentenced to 20 years in federal prison later this year.  The Lee County burglary charges are still pending as well.
