Bicyclist Killed in Pontotoc County Car Crash

PONTOTOC CO, Miss. (WCBI)- Troopers are still investigating a fatal crash involving a bicyclist in Pontotoc County. Law enforcement officers responded to the crash scene on MS 338, at approximately 10:30 P.M., Saturday.

David Burk, 57, of Pontotoc, was traveling east bound on a bicycle, when he apparently rode into the path of a west bound, 2005 Cadillac.

Burk received fatal injuries in the crash, and died on the scene.

The driver of the Cadillac was not injured.
