WEST POINT, Miss. (WCBI) – It was quite a performance at Church Hill Elementary School today.

Kids from Church Hill and South Side Elementary school put on a shadow puppet play and a percussion ensemble for family and friends.

The performances shared African folktale with students during Black history month.

Bongos were drummed, Kente cloth was worn with their attires, and Adinkra symbols lined the stage.
