Body Identified From Lee County Burning Car

LEE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) –  A body found in a burned car in South Lee County is that of 33 year old Jay Hill.

Lee County Coroner Carolyn Green says DNA confirms the remains found inside a burned Lincoln Navigator are those of the missing man.

A farmer searching for lost livestock made the grisly discovery in Mid September.

Hill, who is the son of Corinth alderman J.C. Hill, was reported missing August 9.

Hill had just moved to Tupelo from Horn Lake and was reportedly traveling between the two cities when he disappeared.
