Coroner: Body of Weir 6-month-old sent for autopsy, under investigation

CHOCTAW COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) –  tragic story in Choctaw County.

The death of a Choctaw County infant is under investigation.

Choctaw County Coroner Keith Coleman confirms the body of a 6-month-old child from Weir has been sent to Pearl for an autopsy.

The Choctaw County Sheriff’s office tells WCBI the case is under investigation and hopes to have more details in the next couple of days.
