Bogus Money Surfaces In Amory

AMORY (WCBI) – Amory police are warning local businesses to check their cash – closely.

Several local business owners report receiving $20 counterfeit bills within the last week.

Amory Police investigators say the bills have distinct Chinese characters and all have the same serial number.

Police are asking businesses to check all cash and be sure to report any problems with bills to local law enforcement.
