Boil Water Notice Extended From Starkville Utilities

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – Yesterday, Starkville Utilities issued a boil water notice for former customers of Bluefield Water Association that was slated to last until Monday.

Today, they’ve extended that notice.

Starkville Utilities customers residing west of the Highway 25 bypass and south of U-S 82 should boil water for two minutes before using for consumption.

The notice comes after a break in a water main.

The boil water notice has now been extended until at least Wednesday, August 24th at 5:00 pm.
