Bond hearing set for Ole Miss student accused of killing fellow classmate

OXFORD, Miss. (WCBI) –  A bond hearing has been set in the murder case of a former University of Mississippi student.

Brandon Theesfeld, 21, will receive a bond hearing Thursday, August 22.

Theesfeld has been charged with killing Alexandria Kostial.

The body of the Ole Miss student was found Saturday, July 21, in Harmontown. That’s in Lafayette County near Sardis Lake.

Theesfeld, a native of Fort Worth, remains in the Lafayette County Jail.

He was officially charged with murder two days after Kostial’s body was found.

Lafayette County Coroner Rocky Kennedy confirmed to Hottytoddy.com that she died of multiple gunshot wounds.

No motive has been established in the murder.

Theesfeld is represented by attorney Tony Farese.
