Bond Set in Monroe County Stabbing

MONROE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) -Bond has been set in a stabbing case in Monroe County.

Cory Bailey, 25, was arrested and charged with aggravated violence on July 17.

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Department responded to a home on Old Houston Road to a report of a stabbing.

The victim was airlifted to North Mississippi Medical Center.

Bailey is currently being held at Monroe County Sheriff’s Department.

Monroe County Justice Court Judge Robert Fowlkes set bond for Bailey at $50,000.00.
