TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – If you are looking for some bargains on books, you may want to stop in at the Lee County Library this weekend.
“Friends of the Lee County Library” will hold a book sale Saturday at the storage garages at the Tupelo location.
There are fiction, non fiction, paperbacks, hardbacks and many other types. Organizers say they have received so many donations that they must sell them.
All proceeds go to help the Library continue its work throughout the area.
“Right now we are using our proceeds for the Lee County Library Endowment Program, which is a wonderful program that will continue to pay back to our library here in the children’s area, where we will be helping for years to come, buy books for the library here,” said Marian Lyle, who is a volunteer with Friends of the Lee County Library.
The book sale starts at 9 and runs till noon at the Lee County Library on North Madison Street.
