Bootlegging Makes Brief Comeback In Chickasaw County

HOUSTON, MS (WCBI)  – The Friday night party was over before it started for 2 Chickasaw County men busted for bootlegging.   Chickasaw County Sheriffs deputies and State ABC agents served two warrants on men suspected of selling alcohol in the dry county.

Franks Atkinson of 127 County Road 233 Houlka is charged with possession of whiskey and beer in a dry county.   The second warrant was served at another Houlka residence.
