BREAKING- Arrest Made In Thanksgiving Homicide

COLUMBUS ( WCBI) -The Us Marshall service and the Lowndes County Sheriff’s task force have arrested a man believed to be a suspect in the Thanksgiving eve homicide in Columbus.

Sources tell WCBI that 25 year old Undra Lamorris Williams, Jr. was picked up at his house early this morning, December 15.

The shooting happened as a large event was ending at the Trotter Convention Center in downtown Columbus.

27 year old Cordell Deshaun Lewis was shot and later died following an apparent altercation.

Law enforcement have been asking event-goers for leads.

Columbus investigators say this remains an on-going investigation and continue ask the public for assistance in the case.
