BREAKING – Body Of Missing Boater Located

ABERDEEN ( WCBI) – Search and Rescue teams have recovered the body of a boater missing near the Aberdeen Lock and Dam.

Sheriff Cecil Cantrell confirms the body of the woman missing since late Tuesday afternoon was located just before 11 Wednesday.   The search started around 5 Tuesday when the woman jumped from the boat into the water and went under.    Sheriff Cecil Cantrell says the victim is 54 year old Lisa Merritt of Amory.   WCBI will have the latest on the story as it develops.
