BREAKING: Fire Breaks Out at Starkville Apartment

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI)-  Firefighters responded to a fire at an apartment complex in Starkville early Friday morning.

Flames engulfed a floor in the O building at Avalon Apartments, just off Highway 25.

Firefighters were able to contain the fire and no other buildings were damaged.

A few minor injuries were reported. All residents have been accounted for and help is available for those displaced.

There’s no word yet on what caused the fire.
