BREAKING: The Lowndes County Sheriff’s Department Is Investigating A Threatening Social Media Post

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Lowndes County deputies are investigating a social media threat at New Hope School.

These are the two Facebook posts making their rounds on social media.

Sheriff Mike Arledge says the department is in touch with federal law enforcement to help track down the source of the threat.

There will be a large presence of deputies on the school campus on Monday.

Arledge asks parents to use good judgment and trust that law enforcement are working to track down the poster, while keeping students safe.
