BREAKING UPDATE- Victim In Officer Involved Shooting Named

COLUMBUS (WCBI) –  Lowndes County Coroner Greg Merchant says the man killed in an early morning shooting is 24 year old Raymond Davis of Columbus.   Merchant says Davis died at 1:58 AM at Baptist Memorial Hospital Golden Triangle .

Merchant says details on the number of times Davis was struck and the location of those wounds will be determined by an autopsy set for next week at the Mississippi Forensic Center in Pearl.   More information on the officer involved shooting is available here on WCBI.com
