Burglary Ring Grows

MONROE AND WEBSTER COUNTIES, Miss. (WCBI) – More burglaries are linked to the alleged thieves arrested in Monroe County last week.

James Cousins and Justin Strong are accused of breaking into two Monroe County homes and possibly some in Webster County as well.

The two were arrested last Wednesday, December 6, in Monroe County.

Monroe County deputies pulled the suspects over in a car that matched the description of a tip from previous burglaries in Webster County.

Some weapons inside the car linked back to stolen ones reported in recent Webster County burglaries.

Law enforcement also believe the two are linked to more burglaries in Chickasaw and Clay Counties.

Both men are charged with Burglary, Grand Larceny, Possession Of Burglary Tools and Possession of Counterfeit Money.

The investigation is ongoing.
