Calhoun County Sheriff’s K9 Deputy helps make drug arrest

CALHOUN COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department arrested two people from out of state on Sunday.

A deputy and his K9 partner, Deputy Rico, made the arrest possible.

Brendan J. Monnin and Amy Hatfield of West Monroe, Louisiana were arrested for Possession of Meth.

The sheriff’s department said a call came in about the two nearlsideswipingng another vehicle.

When the two deputies responded, Rico hit on the truck area of the car and found meth.
