CALHOUN COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A Calhoun County woman will serve five years probation for having sexual relations with a dog.

Kimberly Coggins was arrested this past weekend and charged with unnatural intercourse.

She has waived her indictment and pleaded guilty.

Sheriff Greg Pollan says deputies were alerted to pictures that were being sent in the community as text messages.

Investigators have narrowed down a time frame of August 2014 through August 2015 when the pictures were taken.

Coggins also must register as a sex offender.

The investigation is continuing.
