Calmer Weather Through Thursday. Rain Returns Late Week.

TODAY/TUE: We kick off our week on a nice and sunny note. Sunshine on both Monday and Tuesday afternoons, with highs in the upper 60s. Overnight lows in the upper 30s and low 40s.

WED/THU: We climb into the 70s on Wednesday under sunny skies, and into the upper 70s and low 80s by Thursday. Overnight lows in the 40s Wednesday night, and 50s Thursday night.

FRI/SAT: Our next big system will roll through here Friday evening into Saturday. Models are still a bit spread out when it comes to timing, but for now I suspect the bulk of the thunderstorm activity will be overnight Friday lingering into Saturday morning. We will have to monitor this system for the potential for severe storms, but we are still several days out and forecast confidence is not high enough to suggest a specific threat yet. Highs will be in the 80s Friday afternoon, with overnight lows in the upper 50s to around 60°. Saturday’s highs will stay in the 60s and 70s, with lows Saturday in the 30s.

SUNDAY: Cool, calm, and sunny on Sunday, with highs in the upper 50s and low 60s.
