Car Burglary Suspects Caught in the Act

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — An alert resident leads to the arrest of three car burglary suspects.

Columbus police responded to a burglary in progress call at about 2 a.m. Sunday at Rivergate Apartments on Holly Hills Road.

Officers confronted two suspects and a third fled. He was caught about 45 minutes later.

The three are 19-year-old Josh Hackman, 20-year-old Eldon Bontager and 21-year-old Jaboris Davis. All three were caught with items reported stolen from two cars.

Bonrager and Hackman have Caledonia addresses and Davis has a Columbus address.
