Car found underwater in Lamar County

LAMAR COUNTY, Ala. (WCBI)- A strange find Tuesday afternoon in Lamar County, Alabama.

A car was submerged in a flooded road.

It was found on Hays Crossing Road, that’s just off County Road 9.

No one was in the vehicle, which still had its lights and windshield wipers on.

First responders at the scene tell us the car will be removed Wednesday when the flood waters have had time to recede.
