Cargo Thief Heading To Prison

ABERDEEN (WCBI)- A Memphis man will be sentenced in December after admitting his role in stealing trailers from truck stops across North Mississippi.

Andrew Shorter admitted his guilt Thursday in Aberdeen Federal Court . Shorter is part of a theft ring which stole parked trailers from Baldwyn, Yalobusha County, Hickory Flat and Senatobia. The stolen goods included aluminum bars, motor oil, cornbread mix and baby wipes. The trailers were all delivered to a Michigan man who then sold the stolen goods.
