PICKENS COUNTY, Ala. (WCBI) — A longtime Carrollton, Alabama councilman is free on bond tonight after being indicted on nine counts of child sex crimes.
Tim Strickland, 57, was released Monday on a $500,000 bond.
He’s charged with three counts of sodomy first degree, four counts of sexual abuse, and two counts of enticing a child for immoral purposes.
According to court documents, the two victims are under the age of 12.
Strickland has not resigned from the city council.
