Video: Carver Street Drainage Update

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) — For residents living in one Starkville neighborhood, an ugly dangerous and unsanitary ditch that has been an eyesore for years is being fixed.

The Carver Drive Project is about 10%  finished. For citizens of Carver Drive, a $678,000  concrete channel project for them is becoming a bridge over a long standing problem.

“Its a work in progress. I appreciate it and I think everybody in this neighborhood on this side I know appreciate what we see that’s going down. We know they are coming. And we have to have patience,” said Margaret Mason/Starkville.

Work on the Carver Drive Project is expected to be completed some time this year depending on weather conditions.
