Chancery Court Judge Appointment

JACKSON, Miss. (WCBI) – Mississippi’s First District will soon have a new Chancery Court Judge.

Appointed by Governor Bryant, Stephen Bailey will replace the retiring Judge T.K. Moffett, this coming February.

The seat will be open for election in November 2018.

The Saltillo resident has served as a prosecutor in the Lee County Youth and Tupelo Municipal Court.

The First District encompasses Alcorn, Itawamba, Lee, Monroe, Pontotoc, Prentiss, Tishomingo and Union counties.
