Charges Filed In Deli Duel

COLUMBUS (WCBI ) – One man is charged in the aftermath of a high noon showdown outside of a Columbus store.

 Quinton Hayden and James Sharkey argued and fought in the parking lot of the United Deli Wednesday. That ended with shots being fired and both men fleeing the scene.   Lowndes County deputies and Columbus Police caught both in different  locations within minutes.

No charges are being filed in connection with the actual fight but Hayden is being charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
