Chickasaw Co. had significant storm damage during recent severe weather

CHICKASAW COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Chickasaw county saw significant storm damage during the last round of severe weather.

According to MEMA’s preliminary damage report, twenty-three homes and two farms were damaged during the April ninth and tenth severe weather event.

The national weather service confirmed four tornadoes were on the ground during those two days.

These results are preliminary and could change depending on further surveys.
