Child Dies After Being Struck By Car

MARIETTA, MS (WCBI) – An Itawamba County  child is dead after being hit by a car Thursday night.

Sheriff Chris Dickinson says 6 year old Saudona Hoskin was riding her bike on Estes Morrow Road in Marietta when the accident happened.

She was carried to North Mississippi Medical Center where she was pronounced dead

Dickinson adds the accident is still under investigation but no charges are expected against the driver.
