Citizen Helps In Arrest For Mischief In Tupelo
TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – A citizen has helped in an arrest after an incident of theft.
An employee of West Main Laundry in Tupelo saw a person matching a description and patrol officers were able to make contact and identify the alleged thief.
Preston Stokes Jr has been charged with felony malicious mischief. His bond was set at 15-thousand dollars Thursday in Lee County.
Police were called after money boxes were damaged at West Main Laundry from someone breaking in. Video surveillance showed it was a black male.
Officers found Stokes in the area of North Gloster Street and Blair Street.
