City Leaders In Bruce Receive A Pay Raise

BRUCE, Miss. (WCBI) – City leaders in Bruce will now see a slight increase in their salaries.

During Tuesday night’s Board of Alderman meeting, the board voted for each alderman to receive a $100 pay raise.

Board members were previously receiving $250, now they’ll be making $350 a month.

Mayor Rudy pope said his board is deserving of the pay raise.

It’s their first pay raise in a long time, and Pope said its something that’s been long overdue.
