Clay County Cocaine Arrest

CLAY COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Two Columbus men are facing cocaine possession charges after a traffic stop in Clay County.

31-year-old Marcus Mosely and 25-year-old Demonte Harris were arrested Saturday, December 9, after being pulled over on Martin Luther King Drive.

Mosley, who investigators say was the driver, was also charged with DUI third offense.

Harris’s bond is set at $5,000, while Mosley’s is set at almost $11,000.

A court date has been set for January 25th in Clay County Circuit Court.

Sheriff Eddie Scott says they’re still investigating this incident and anyone with information should call the Clay County Sheriff’s Office or Golden Triangle Crime Stoppers.
