Clay County deputies make meth arrest

CLAY COUNTY (WCBI) – A bad tag leads to bad times for a West Point man.  39 year old Kennie Chandler was stopped on 45 Alternate Sunday by a Clay County deputy.  A search of Chandler’s car turned up meth and paraphernalia .

  Chandler was also cited for no drivers license and improper tag. Chandler remains jailed at the Clay County Detention Center with a bond of $5,791.00.

Scott stated the Clay County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit along with the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics is investigating the case and anyone with any information is encouraged to contact investigators at the Clay County Sheriff’s Office at 662-494-2896 or the Golden Triangle Crime Stoppers at 1-800-530-7151
