Clay County Drug And Child Endangerment Arrests

CLAY COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Two traffic stops by the Clay County Sheriff’s Office K-9 over the weekend land two people in jail.

When the unit stopped 35-year-old Stacy Berry Friday on Highway 50, the deputy found and seized around four grams of liquid methamphetamines, syringes, and marijuana.

In addition to the drug charge, Berry is also charged with two counts of Child Endangerment.

The unit also stopped 52-year-old Carl Haughton Saturday, Old Vinton Road.

He’s charged with DUI, 2nd offense, and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Berry and Haughton are still in jail on bond at the Clay County Detention Center.
