Video: Clay County Raid Ends With Drug Seizure

Clay County Sheriff Eddie Scott stated that 4 individuals were arrested from a joint investigation conducted by Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics, Clay County Sheriff Department and assisted by the West Point Police Department, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and the Mississippi Alcohol Beverage Control Division on Wednesday, November 4. Scott said narcotics agents conducted a search warrant on 9023 CCC Line Road in the Una Community and seized approximately 2 pounds of marijuana, a quarter ounce of cocaine, numerous quantities of unlabeled narcotic pills and an undetermined amount of U.S. currency. Scott stated the approximate street value of the drugs is $4,000.00.

Agents have charged Malcom Berry, age 22 of Prairie, Terry Gillespie, age 30 of Okolana, Calvin White, age 17 of Prairie and Lillie Thompson, age 58 of Prairie. All 4 individuals are charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.

Scott stated all 4 individuals are currently incarcerated at the Clay County Detention Center currently awaiting arraignment.
