OKTIBBEHA COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Vote counting continued Thursday in two Oktibbeha County board of supervisors races.

However, two of the candidates involved feel good about their chances of winning.

In the District 3 race, Marvell Howard is in a tight race with Dennis Daniels.

Howard tells WCBI he believes he will win the race. He’s been in office since 2000.

In the District 4 race, Bricklee Miller says it appears she will unseat incumbent Daniel Jackson.

If Miller wins, she would become the first female supervisor in the county and the only person to unseat an incumbent.

We will continue to follow these races as the total’s become available.
