Vic Schaefer Fulfills Promise to Boys & Girls Clubs

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – Mississippi State Women’s basketball coach, Vic Schaefer, makes good a promise to the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Golden Triangle, delivering a $10,000 check and then some.

After last night’s win over Auburn, Schaefer presented a check for $10,000 to club CEO Nadia Colom.

Schaefer pledged that amount if State fans could break the season attendance record of 110,000.

But that wasn’t all, he informed Colom during the presentation that other Bulldog fan donors had chipped in additional donations.

The total as of this afternoon was $51,000.
