Columbus Burglary

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Thanks to a neighbor a Columbus man is behind bars after breaking into a home.

Police reports show 29 year old Christopher George Peacock was arrested Wednesday night after nieghbors spotted a suspicious suspect walking around their nieghbors home. The person quickly called 911 and when Columbus Police arrived at 136 King Street they found George inside the home.

George was arrested without incident and charged with burglary breaking and entering of a dwelling. Bond has been set at $2500.
