Columbus family displaced after house fire

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – A Columbus family is displaced after an early morning fire.

The fire happened on John Hancock Drive before noon today.

Investigators think it started in the garage and spread up into the attic.

Columbus Fire Department worked quickly to get the fire under control so it did not spread any further.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.

There are no injuries being reported.
