Columbus FD put out fire on Martin Luther King Drive

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – It didn’t take long to put out the flames.

But firefighters in Columbus spent mid-morning working on hot spots and smoky areas on one side of a duplex on Martin Luther King Drive.

Fire Chief Martin Andrews tells WCBI there were no injuries.

The fire began about 9:00 this morning.

Investigators still don’t know what caused the fire.
