Columbus home damaged from fire, no one injured

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Two people escaped from an early Wednesday morning house fire in Columbus.

The blaze happened in the 2400 block of Walnut Avenue at about 1 a.m.

Spokesman Joe Dillon said the home had moderate damage from the flames.

No one was injured in the fire.

The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
