Video: Columbus Home Target Of Arsonists

COLUMBUS (WCBI) – Columbus Police are keeping a close eye on a Beech Street residence after  two attempts to torch it and one case where bullets were fired   at the home.

The latest  attempt came around 2:30 Sunday morning when Police and fire crews were called to this home  to fight a fire.  Firemen have not determined a cause but arson is suspected.  The Sunday incident comes less than a week after the homeowners dealt with two other crimes  The first was around  one  A.M. June 8th when shots were fired at the home.  Police believe those were in retaliation for the murder of DeAnthony Jones.  That night they came in to find the residence burglarized and yet another attempt to set it on fire.   If you have any information you can call Golden Triangle Crimestoppers.
