Columbus Man Charged with Attempted Rape

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — A Columbus man is arrested, accused of attacking a woman, and trying to rape her.

Columbus police say the incident happened on Taylor Street, Saturday.

Investigators are charging Emmitt Rice, Jr. with attempting to commit rape.

His bond has been set at $20,000.
