Columbus Man Dies In Fiery Crash

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – A Columbus man is dead after a car accident ends in flames.

The victim is tentatively identified as Nathaniel Whittaker.

Lowndes County Coroner Greg Merchant tells WCBI that DNA has been collected from family members and dental records will be used to make a positive identification.

The accident is still under investigation.
