Columbus Mayor announces end to citywide curfew

COLUMBUS, Miss (WCBI)- Columbus Mayor Robert Smith has ended the citywide curfew.

It was enacted in March by The City Council because of concerns regarding COVID-19.

The 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. curfew officially ended Wednesday morning at 6 a.m.

The City is encouraging people to still practice all safety guidelines with The Mayor adding, “this is not the time to be less careful.”
