Columbus PD Catch Failed ATV Burglar

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — Columbus Police arrest an Aberdeen man for attempting to take off with an ATV.

Police say 40-year old James Christopher Stanley bolted from the Boat Gallery on Bluecutt Road on a side by side ATV.

Officers found the stolen vehicle damaged after crashing into a fire hydrant.

Stanley was later found attempting to flee on foot, and was identified as the person driving the stolen ATV.

Stanley is charged with Grand Larceny and his bond was set at $10,000 dollars.
