Shelton believes recent shootings are targeted.

“These are not random shootings. These are not somebody that sees a person on the street and just say… “I’m going to decide to shoot you.” But there are some prior relationships, there’s an altercation, ther’s some type of illegal activity that connects these people together. Instead of resolving it in a peaceful manner, they do it in a violent manner and we are trying to stop that,” said Police Chief Fred Shelton. “If you see something, hear something, something doesn’t look right… Call 911, call the police.”

If you have any information about the deadly shooting call Golden Triangle Crime Stoppers.
