Columbus Police Investigate Downtown Store Robbery

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Columbus police are investigating an armed robbery for the second night in a row in downtown.

The second hold-up happened at the Chevron at Third and Main, just after 10 PM on Tuesday.

WCBI is told the robber went inside with a gun and left with some money.

The thief is described as a dark skinned black male.

Police have not commented on the investigation.

No arrest has been made.
